By virtue of attending last year's TAP conference I got to meet Rex Miller.
Between then and now, Rex and a few associates put their heads together and wrote a compelling book about the change happening in our industry.
As this was no small effort, they recruited a number of indivduals (myself included) to help proofread the manuscript, to offer advice, anecdotes, suggest changes, etc.
You can find the results in hardcover, from Wiley, on Amazon:
My hope is that for people who are attending this year to make the valuable business contacts that will allow them to pursue larger things in the future, be that a new joint venture, an intellectual collaboration, or even just to try a new business model on the next big project (something like what is described in the book, for example)
